A traffic stop in Tarpon Springs led to a man's arrest for possession of marijuana and cocaine with intent to distribute. He was pulled over for driving with a suspended license in Pinellas County.

Tampa Pair Arrested In Home Invasion Served Time For Cocaine ConvictionsA pair of Tampa men who are suspected in a home invasion have faced a combined 93 charges in the past. Both men have also served time for drug crimes. Both men have been in jail on two occasions for cocaine charges. The men are charged with breaking into a home on South Willow Ave. and have been charged with home invasion, robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon charges.
Alton Marchman has faced 48 charges previously according to public records and 32-year-old Timothy Green has been charged 45 times previously. According to Bay News 9, most of the previous 93 charges were not serious enough to carry prison time.… April 19, 2010
Pasco Marijuana Arrest Leads To Discovery Of More Than 2,000 Canisters Of Illegal MushroomsA marijuana bust that ended up netting Pasco County Sheriff’s a search warrant led to a huge mushroom-growing operation. Undercover officers in Port Richey landed a search warrant after three marijuana deals and they were shocked at what they uncovered. Inside two separate homes they found more than 2,000 canisters of illegal hallucinogenic mushrooms. Drug enforcement agents and deputies wearing haz-mat suits removed the illegal drugs from two Pasco County homes. Gerald Hannafin was arrested and investigators then went to his father’s home where more mushrooms were found. The older Hannafin told deputies he thought the mushrooms were legal. Florida Oxycodone Dealer Calls Police To Report His Stolen PillsA Hernando County man has been charged with drug trafficking and making a false police report after he called deputies and told them his Oxycodone and Methadone had been stolen. According to 10 Connects, Mark Andrew Davis, Sr. told deputies he was robbed of his prescription pills after he left Nature Coast Pharmacy but according to law enforcement it was a drug deal gone bad. The suspect in the case allegedly admitted to police he was planning on selling his prescription drugs for $800 to the man who robbed him. Davis had just picked up 180 tablets of Oxycodone and 120 Methadone pills. April 8, 2010

When they arrived they found a woman who admitted she was high and drunk, a man who struggled with deputies, a bag of cocaine and a toddler. The two adults inside the home were charged with child neglect, cocaine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Maria L. Pawlowski is alleged to have admitted to the deputies she was high and drunk while Daniel J. Rapoch had to be pepper sprayed when he began to struggle with the officers. The toddler is believed to be the son of the couple and a birth announcement puts his age at three-years-old this May.… April 8, 2010

According to TampaBay.com, Jeffery Scott Wagner was arrested on drug cultivation charges in connection with the marijuana operation run out of the house of Rhonda Quince, who was charged previously. Mother Who Supplied Teen Son With Oxycodone Pleads Guilty To Contributing To His Fatal OverdoseLinda Courtright is facing 20 years to life in federal prison after pleading guilty to a drug distribution charge in Tampa today. The 36-year-old admitted to supplying her 15-year-old son with the oxycodone that eventually killed him in a drug overdose. Nicholas Block was found to have oxycodone, cocaine and alprazolam in his system when he died. The story surrounding Block’s death is as sad as it is shocking.
