Florida Oxycodone Dealer Calls Police To Report His Stolen Pills

A Hernando County man has been charged with drug trafficking and making a false police report after he called deputies and told them his Oxycodone and Methadone had been stolen. According to 10 Connects, Mark Andrew Davis, Sr. told deputies he was robbed of his prescription pills after he left Nature Coast Pharmacy but according to law enforcement it was a drug deal gone bad.

The suspect in the case allegedly admitted to police he was planning on selling his prescription drugs for $800 to the man who robbed him. Davis had just picked up 180 tablets of Oxycodone and 120 Methadone pills.

Holiday Couple Arrested In Pasco County On Drug Charges And Child Neglect

Pasco County Sheriff’s Deputies were reportedly dispatched to the home of a Holiday couple for a welfare check. When they arrived they found a woman who admitted she was high and drunk, a man who struggled with deputies, a bag of cocaine and a toddler. The two adults inside the home were charged with child neglect, cocaine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Maria L. Pawlowski is alleged to have admitted to the deputies she was high and drunk while Daniel J. Rapoch had to be pepper sprayed when he began to struggle with the officers. The toddler is believed to be the son of the couple and a birth announcement puts his age at three-years-old this May.…

Brooksville Marijuana Grow House Operation Nets Second Arrest

Yesterday we talked about a Brooksville woman who was arrested for operating a marijuana grow house in an effort to pay her bills, which in a larger sense isn’t everyone selling drugs in one way or another using the money to pay off bills? Today though Hernando County deputies have arrested a second person involved in themarijuana cultivation.

According to TampaBay.com, Jeffery Scott Wagner was arrested on drug cultivation charges in connection with the marijuana operation run out of the house of Rhonda Quince, who was charged previously. Quince bought the three-bedroom home fir $130,000 in 2006. The story on TampaBay.com…

Mother Who Supplied Teen Son With Oxycodone Pleads Guilty To Contributing To His Fatal Overdose

Linda Courtright is facing 20 years to life in federal prison after pleading guilty to a drug distribution charge in Tampa today. The 36-year-old admitted to supplying her 15-year-old son with the oxycodone that eventually killed him in a drug overdose. Nicholas Block was found to have oxycodone, cocaine and alprazolam in his system when he died.

The story surrounding Block’s death is as sad as it is shocking. Block had already been in trouble with the law following a marijuana charge but the details of what took place in a Budget Inn Motel on the night of his death are just astounding.…

Lakeland Trafficking Charges Filed Against Two Men With 10 Pounds Of Meth And Guns

A pair of men were arrested outside a Haines City mobile home when investigators found them in possession of two pounds of methamphetamine. David Flores and Raul Magana-Herrera were pulled over when investigators discovered the drugs. That led to a search of the mobile home where eight more pounds of meth and guns were discovered. The men were both charged with trafficking in meth.

The men were the focus of a drug task force investigation according to TBO.com. Agencies involved in the investigation included FDLE, the Polk County Sheriffs and police from Haines City, Bartow, Lakeland and Auburndale.…

Meth Trafficking Charges Filed Against Man Allegedly Running A Lab Out Of Kissimmee Hotel Room

According to a story on the Sarasota Herald Tribune’s website, a man has been charged with trafficking meth after a methamphetamine lab was discovered in an Orlando-area hotel room. Osceola County Sheriffs were alerted to the possible meth lab by other hotel guests who suspected drug crimes and prostitution.

Deputies report finding 19 grams of meth in the hotel room of Robert Reyes. They also allege to have discovered other drugs and equipment used in the production and manufacturing of meth. There were other charges filed but those were not listed in the report. Nobody at the Sevilla Inn was available for comment.…

Prescription Fraud Sentences Handed Out By Federal Judge In Pinellas

A group of five people involved in a Pinellas prescription drug ring were sentenced to prison terms ranging from nearly four years to seven years. The prescription fraud involved the painkiller oxycodone. All five of the participants pled guilty to charges of possession with intent to distribute and distribution of oxycodone.

The prescription fraud involved the manufacturing of fake prescriptions that had valid DEA numbers on them. The group would supply cell phone numbers to the doctors who allegedly wrote the prescriptions but the calls went to co-conspirators not doctors. The fake prescriptions for the painkillers were submitted at three Pinellas pharmacies.…

Woman Arrested On Drug Charges And Child Neglect For Leaving Baby Unattended While She Partied

Hudson deputies have arrested an Illinois woman on charges of possession of marijuana and drug equipment and child neglect after discovering her baby in the back seat of a car unattended. According to police reports, the woman admitted she left the baby in the car for about 30 minutes while she drank a beer but deputies discovered marijuana near her beer bottle and arrested the woman.

The baby was found covered in sweat in the back seat of the car around 11:00 a.m. The infant was covered with a white blanket and the car’s window was cracked a few inches. Nora Leach-Patterson allegedly told deputies she left the child sleeping while she had a beer and was gone just half an hour.…

Manatee Drug Raid Results In Arrest For Crack Cocaine

While the details are sketchy at the moment, Bradenton.com is reporting that drug charges have been filed against a Manatee County man following a SWAT raid at his duplex. The raid took place early this morning and the arrest was made after discovering crack cocaine in the duplex.

There was an ongoing investigation into drug activity at the duplex. Detectives obtained a search warrant to conduct the raid. The man who was arrested on the drug charges was being booked into Manatee County Jail. His name has not been released yet nor have the specific drug charges. The raid took place at a duplex on 19th Street West and 57th Avenue West.…
