Manatee County Sheriff’s noticed a driver slumped over the steering wheel of a running car at 4:24 a.m. this morning. When they went to investigate they found a narcotics pipe, a baggie with a rocky substance and an open pocket knife. After removing the knife, deputies woke the man up and eventually arrested him on charges of trafficking in narcotics , tampering with evidence, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest without violence.
According to Bradenton.com, after deputies woke up the suspect, he exited the car and threw his pipe and a pack of cigarettes toward a wetland area. He then had to be subdued with a Taser according to reports. Deputies found cash, prescription pills and multiple prescriptions from different people and multiple ID cards on the suspect.
