A major drug sweep of Williams Park in St. Petersburg led to numerous arrests. Charges ranged from possession and distribution of crack, marijuana, cocaine, oxycodone, hydrocodone and ecstasy.

Holiday Couple Arrested In Pasco County On Drug Charges And Child NeglectPasco County Sheriff’s Deputies were reportedly dispatched to the home of a Holiday couple for a welfare check. When they arrived they found a woman who admitted she was high and drunk, a man who struggled with deputies, a bag of cocaine and a toddler. The two adults inside the home were charged with child neglect, cocaine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Maria L. Pawlowski is alleged to have admitted to the deputies she was high and drunk while Daniel J. Rapoch had to be pepper sprayed when he began to struggle with the officers. The toddler is believed to be the son of the couple and a birth announcement puts his age at three-years-old this May.… April 8, 2010

Tampa Man Faces Aggravated Battery And Drug Charges After Ramming A U.S. Marshal’s CarTampa police arrested three men last night after one of them rammed his Dodge Charger into a U.S. Marshal’s car. Tyrone Sheffield fled from police on Sligh Avenue running red lights and speeding. He abandoned his car inside which police found marijuana and crack cocaine they say was packaged for sale. Later that evening Tampa police were investigating a suspicious vehicle on Hillsborough Avenue. At that point they investigated and identified one of the passengers as Sheffield. He was arrested and charged with possession of coke, possession of marijuana, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, fleeing and drug paraphernalia charges.… March 15, 2010
Manatee Deputies Arrest Man For Robbery That Almost Cost Victim His EarCorey Shane Holland was booked into Manatee County jail on charges of robbery and battery on a law enforcement officer. The 21-year-old had his bond set at over one million dollars. Holland is accused of robbing and assaulting a man in a drug deal gone bad. He robbed his would-be pot dealer and almost severed the man’s ear. The incident took place on Wednesday when Holland was allegedly going to purchase marijuana from the victim. Holland instead attacked the man, stole his wallet and a large amount of weed according to police. He was arrested Thursday after assaulting a police officer and fleeing from the attempted arrest.… February 15, 2010
Hillsborough Man Jailed After Punching And Kicking Officers And Possession Of MethA Plant City man is in jail in Hillsborough County following an incident where he punched and kicked officers after they responded to a call at his Evers St. home. Michael Lewis Sester was arrested on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence. He also caught with methamphetamine and has a drug possession charge as well. Officers arrived at Sester’s home Sunday night after they were alerted to Sester acting combative. Once on the scene officers found the 26-year-old standing in a bathroom. He refused to comply with the their requests. He was taken down and broke free by kicking and then punched an officer once he made it to his feet.… |
