A Clearwater man wanted on numerous Florida arrest warrants for home invasion and dealing in stolen property was busted with cocaine while selling oxycodone to an undercover police officer Friday. Charles J. Corno was charged with resisting a law enforcement officer, possession of cocaine andoxycodone and sale of oxycodone. He is being held in Pinellas County Jail.
According to TampaBay.com the drug deal took place just after midnight. Corno sold the pills to an undercover Clearwater police officer. He was about to be arrested but took off. Police caught up with him after a short chase on foot. Corno has pending charges for robbery and aggravated assault in connection with the alleged home invasion.
