Complaints of rampant drug crime in St. Petersburg at Williams Park led police to make nearly three dozen arrests for crimes involving drugs. The arrests are the result of an eight-month operation targeting drug users and drug dealers. Complaints of drug deals and drug use taking place in open led to narcotics and vice getting involved in this investigation. According to police, they have been building cases against nearly 30 people in St. Petersburg for drug crimes since 2009. At last report officers were still looking for suspects they want to arrest. It is funny how far this Pasco man was willing to go to avoid a charge of possession of marijuana and not end up being arrested for a Tampa Bay drug crime. According to a story on TBO.com, Samuel Frederick Collins tried to eat a plastic bag filled with pot and chase it with a double cheeseburger to avoid arrest. A Pasco County Sheriff’s deputy was driving behind a 1997 Honda Del Sol when he observed the man driving the car throw a McDonald’s bag out the window. Tampa Bay Drug Crimes – Oxycodone Mailed To Pasco County Inmate Under The Stamp

A Port Richey woman is being investigated for a Tampa drug crime after trying to do her jailed friend a favor. She may be an inmate herself soon after committing a drug crime in Tampa Bay. Kathy Marie Sharp is accused of sending her friend, a Pasco County Jail inmate, a postcard with Oxycodone concealed under the stamp. The prescription pill was mailed under the stamp in a powder form. According to the St. Petersburg Times, the postcard was intended for Starla Espegren and was sent to the Land O’Lakes jail. Espegren is serving a nine-month jail sentence for a probation violation and failure to appear.…

Tampa Pair Arrested In Home Invasion Served Time For Cocaine Convictions

A pair of Tampa men who are suspected in a home invasion have faced a combined 93 charges in the past. Both men have also served time for drug crimes. Both men have been in jail on two occasions for cocaine charges. The men are charged with breaking into a home on South Willow Ave. and have been charged with home invasion, robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon charges. Alton Marchman has faced 48 charges previously according to public records and 32-year-old Timothy Green has been charged 45 times previously. Pasco Marijuana Arrest Leads To Discovery Of More Than 2,000 Canisters Of Illegal Mushrooms

A marijuana bust that ended up netting Pasco County Sheriff’s a search warrant led to a huge mushroom-growing operation. Undercover officers in Port Richey landed a search warrant after three marijuana deals and they were shocked at what they uncovered. Inside two separate homes they found more than 2,000 canisters of illegal hallucinogenic mushrooms. Drug enforcement agents and deputies wearing haz-mat suits removed the illegal drugs from two Pasco County homes. Gerald Hannafin was arrested and investigators then went to his father’s home where more mushrooms were found.…

Florida Oxycodone Dealer Calls Police To Report His Stolen Pills

A Hernando County man has been charged with drug trafficking and making a false police report after he called deputies and told them his Oxycodone and Methadone had been stolen. According to 10 Connects, Mark Andrew Davis, Sr. told deputies he was robbed of his prescription pills after he left Nature Coast Pharmacy but according to law enforcement it was a drug deal gone bad.
The suspect in the case allegedly admitted to police he was planning on selling his prescription drugs for $800 to the man who robbed him. Davis had just picked up 180 tablets of Oxycodone and 120 Methadone pills.

Pasco County Sheriff’s Deputies were reportedly dispatched to the home of a Holiday couple for a welfare check. When they arrived they found a woman who admitted she was high and drunk, a man who struggled with deputies, a bag of cocaine and a toddler. The two adults inside the home were charged with child neglect, cocaine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Maria L. Pawlowski is alleged to have admitted to the deputies she was high and drunk while Daniel J. Rapoch had to be pepper sprayed when he began to struggle with the officers. The toddler is believed to be the son of the couple and a birth announcement puts his age at three-years-old this May.…

Brooksville Marijuana Grow House Operation Nets Second Arrest

Yesterday we talked about a Brooksville woman who was arrested for operating a marijuana grow house in an effort to pay her bills, which in a larger sense isn’t everyone selling drugs in one way or another using the money to pay off bills? Today though Hernando County deputies have arrested a second person involved in themarijuana cultivation. According to TampaBay.com, Jeffery Scott Wagner was arrested on drug cultivation charges in connection with the marijuana operation run out of the house of Rhonda Quince, who was charged previously.
